Our family is big into consignment sales. We shop at them and we buy from them. With four kids ages 11, 9, 6 and 4, you can believe that we grow out of clothing almost as fast as I can purchase it. Consignment sales make selling the outgrown clothing easy, and at many sales I simply “roll” the money I earn for selling into the money I need to buying there! And because I refuse to pay full price for almost everything I buy, I am always looking for ways to save EVEN more on the items I need to prepare for selling at a consignment sale. Ahh.... The back to school routine.  Buying "new" (or new-to-you) clothes, stocking up on school supplies and ... {shudder} labeling all of those new items for school.   If the thought of breaking out the Sharpie and labeling your kids back to school items makes you have resale anxiety, then here is a fabulous solution.  These sticky labels hold up wash after wash BUT can be removed before you start tagging for next season.

What is a Consignment Sale?
Typically, a week or weekend long event where consignors sell their items and receive 50-80% of the final item price for sold items. Sales are generally run by an owner or organizer and can be "for profit" or as a fundraiser for a school, church or other organization. Consignors select which items to consign and set their own prices. Consignment sales reward consignors with an additional commission % on their sold items in exchange for volunteer hours worked.
