This is the friendliest and best organized sale in the area, hands down. The organizer personally came by and greeted and thanked shoppers. I felt very welcome and appreciated. I always come away with some great things: good quality play clothes under
10 dollars as well as a few nicer things. If you calculate prices according to quality, this is easily the best value among all the area sales as well. Everything is clean, well-labeled, and well taken care of.

Love, love, love this sale! I have consigned and shopped this sale for 4 years and am so thankful to be involved. The owner has truly filled a need in the W-S community. I have a boy and a girl and have been thrilled with the choices at this sale. Shoppers, please realize that no ONE sale will fufill all clothing needs for your child(ren) however, this sale comes pretty close! CBR is at the top of my list!

LOVE this sale! It's hard to find higher-end brands at some of the other sales. Not here! Yes, I spend more than at a regular consignment sale, but in relation to the brand-new price of the items.

I think this sale is great. I have found with any consignment sale, the trick is to consign clothing in the sale in order to get into the "preview sale". This is where you will find your biggest selection at lower price points. I spent 150.00 and came away with 2 pair of shoes, 6-7 dresses, 4 pairs of boy's shorts and a couple more boy's outfits. Considering the brand names I brought home, I felt like this was a steal! I would have easily spent $400-500 if purchased in a retail store. No stains, great quality. I love being a smart shopper and buying adorable clothes in the process!

This sale is out of touch with reality. The targeted consumer percentage is very slim. Most children would not wear anything that was available for purchase. The prices were too high for a "resale" sale. I would not buy the type of items that were available. I am looking for something my child could get good use from. Not something you would buy just for a photo shoot. I will not be coming back to this sale.

Oh, how I love this sale! Just finished buying way too much. The staff I encounter has always been friendly. I'll definitely come again.

I found some great stuff at this sale! It is my favorite for finding boutique items at a great price (and yes, they are priced higher than other area consignment sales -- they're higher end items). I have never encountered workers at the sale that were anything but friendly!

i was very disappointed in this sale. very few items for boys over a year old and i thought the prices were on was there was way too high. like some other reviews i felt the staff was almost snobby. i would not return to this sale.

What a huge let down!!!!! Saw items more expensive than new in store. Lady doing this sale what very rude, unhelpfull and stuck up. Sorry I don't dress up on my day off to go to sales. Will make sure to tell everyone I know that this sale is a waste of time!!!!!!

I shopped the sale, consigned and was a vendor for this sale and thought it was a terrific experience all around. High end items at good prices. It is not a typical consignment sale

I have had a lot of success shopping and selling at CBR! I highly recommend CBR to anyone interested in buying/selling higher end clothes.

I enjoyed the sale, I thought some of the pieces were overpriced. I was a little disappointed to buy a Lily Pulitzer outfit for my daughter at 20.00 only to find a stain on it when I got it home. Lesson learned. I will go back for the Fall sale because a few of the pieces that I found, quickly became favorites.

We do allow high-end, designer customized pieces in the sale. These would be the only Target items represented. If an unaccepted brand slipped onto the sales floor by accident, when found, it would be pulled. We work very hard to maintain a design/boutique reputation. We do not want to waste shoppers valuable time. In addition, overwhelming response from shoppers was that quantities, quality and organization were fantastic. We always look to increase boys clothing stock and will continually strive to do so. Thanks for your continued support!

I felt this sale was over rated...I was highly disappointed. I got there 15 minutes after opening and found nothing. There were items from Target (Cherokee) priced higher than what I can find on sale at the store. I was shopping for my son so, that might have had something to do with it. I think a savvy shopper could hunt down better brands NWT for less on eBay.

This sale is a "one of a kind diamond" in W-S. I have a girl and a boy, and find things for both kids at this sale. The quality of clothing is worth $20 per piece. Unlike retail stores, consigment sales can not control the amount of clothing in every size - let's not be unrealistic in our expectations of consignment sales. I'll be back again with out a doubt!

I love this sale!! It is just what Winston-Salem has needed. I have been going to consignment sales for seven years now and this is my favorite one to consign at and to shop due to the quality clothes (both in brands and excellent condition of the clothes). I am a consignor so I got to shop the consignor sale and I found lots of great deals on clothes for both of my boys. For those who wrote that they did not find what they wanted you should consign and get first pick! I disagree with posts that said there were lots of stains. These clothes are in the best shape I have ever seen at consignment sales! I will definitely be back to consign and to shop and cannot wait for the next sale! Kari does an excellent job with this sale and I am so glad she started this sale! :)

If you have a girl, then I'd definitely shop this sale for awesome boutique girl clothing at reasonable prices. However, for a boy, I felt like it was a waste of my time...they had 19 outfits in the 18-24 size range on Saturday at 9am and the prices were a little high for the brand names. Maybe they had more things on Friday - I'll still try to hit this one on Friday next year.

I love that Winston-Salem has a sale like this! Yes, the prices are higher than a church consignment sale, but you have to look at the type of clothing that you are buying. I am thrilled with my purchases and I will be back!

This is a WONDERFUL sale! I found so many outfits for my daughter! Most of them were smocked and in excellent condition!!! This sale is a "Must DO" for me! Kari has done an excellent job in filling a need for this type of clothing. I can't wait for the fall sale!!!

Sorry ... having trouble getting my comment up on here!
I really really liked this sale. I found it here on this website last week and figured I would give it a try. I was there at lunch time today (opening day) and there was a ton of clothing to choose from. I am sending my friend back tomorrow to shop for her baby and to buy a dress for me that I was debating on! Fingers crossed that it is still there. I also found some other items being sold by the vendors, which were really unique as well. I disagree with a few of the comments below and did not think it was a waste of time at all.

I have shopped at this sale for the past few years and consigned for the past two. I truly love the clothes available. All the clothes I bought were in great condition. Yes, there was Gap and Gymboree, but those are the quality brands I like for my son. As far as the girls, I got some beautiful things by Room Seven, mini Boden, and Kelly's Kids. There was also a fantastic selection of smocked clothing. I agree with the comment below in that it depends on what you may be looking for. I saw women leaving with armfuls of clothing who seemed pretty happy!!!! (including myself!)

Ok, I don't know what sale these other moms went to, but I loved this one! I found all kinds of cute things for my 2 daughters (infant and 3)...the biggest problem was not overdoing it! True, there are less boys items than girls, but it's that way in a boutique store, too, folks!! I had a friend go later in the sale who was thrilled with the boys items she found, so I guess it just depends what you are looking for.

In my opinion, other sales just don't compare. If I can only hit one sale a season it's this one.

Very Disappointed....everyday brands, lots of stains, low quantities, arrived within 30 minutes of opening....waste of time!!
Melissa 26-Feb-2010 03:56 PM2 out of 5 stars
I have shopped this sale in the past and got some really cute finds, but was extremely disappointed this time around. Admittedly, I got there late on the first day, but at THIS sale, I don't expect outfits with stains and sure don't expect them to be priced at $20. I saw lots of brands (gap, gymboree, etc) that you can get at other local sales for WAY cheaper. Be pickier with items accepted...the common stuff can be found at all the consignment sales. Those of us who shop this one expect a little more.

I was disappointed in the lack of boys' clothes in 12-18 months. I got there 30 minutes after it opened for the first day. I would definitely visit again if I was buying for girls' clothing.

A great sale for people looking for truly unique stuff. She had European brands that were adorable. I have three kids (2 boys and 1 girl) and always manage to find quality items. In fact the two coats my sons wore last year were from this sale. Definitely worth your time!

I, too, love this sale! I shopped at her sale for the past few years and started consigning last year. I actually bought more for my son than daughter last year becuase I found some cute Mini Boden items. Maybe I took everything before the lady above got there! :) I can tell shoppers that I am bringing some 2T, 3/4, and 5/6 boys clothes to sell this year. Great condition - mostly Gap, Lands End, and Mini Boden. I think she will have a wider selection this year, as she has gained new consignors. Enjoy this shopping experience!

Love this sale! Run by a really sweet Mom who saw a need in the community. Well organized and not too crowded. I will be at this one again year after year shopping for my little girl. The sale is relatively new and grows bigger and better every year. Lots of great clothes in excellent condition. The prices are higher than a traditional consignment sale, because the clothing is nicer. But you can find some $100 dresses for 1/4 of the boutique price. I usually buy a few pieces here, but it isn't in our budget to buy our entire winter wardrobe at even the discounted prices of $20 a romper. :)

A much larger selection for little girls than for boys. I didn't buy anything for my 2 sons last time.
