This used to be an event I looked forward to. However, I'm starting to get fed up with DFD. The rules seem to change from sale to sale. There seems to be one more step in the process or more rules to follow every time. Several of the workers (not sure of names, other than one cashier name Crystal) I have encountered have been downright rude. I have personally witnessed Sara be very ugly to a lady in front of me in line on consignor shopping day. I, myself have been talked down to by her more than once during drop off/pick up and her attitude seemed to change a bit after she saw ALL of my items were sorted by size and grouped in boxes just as she asks... Anyhow, it just seems like after every sale, I come home frustrated over something. I understand it's long hours and a lot of work, but it's also a business. With the money they make off of their consignors, you would think they could be a bit nicer. I know there are others like me who are frustrated too.

Its a huge sale, but unless you have the time to volunteer 20 hours and shop first the "good" stuff is gone really fast. And I saw some people hide the things they wanted so they would be sure to get them - the owners shouldn't let that happen.

Not only are the coordinators super nice to work with no matter how stressed they are but they really make an effort to go through everything at drop off so customers dont worry about going through stained or trash items that some peple think they can sell. Absolutely wonderful!!! What a blessing to have Duds for Doodlebugs. With three small children it's hard to keep them in cute, affordable clothes. When my husband got orders stationing us in Hattiesburg we were skeptical, but now every time one of our military friends ask us "Hattiesburg? What in the world is in Hattiesburg?!?" My husband and I smile and say "DUDS FOR DODLEBUGS!!!"

I have volunteered and consigned with Duds for about 6 years now.
I love to work around everyone I have met. I make extra money to buy my child new clothes for the season and often make enough to pay for other needed things. I look so forward to the next event.
