Guilford College UMC Children's & Maternity Consignment Sale

Great sale! Got some super buys on girls 4t-5t with lots to choose from! Prices were very reasonable as I found several things for 1-2 dollars! Not as much for boys 10+, but that size is usually scarce at most sales.

This is a good sale to buy at, but can treat consignors in an ugly way. They always have to find something to give you back because it is just not up to snuff. But you shop and there are still items that smell like smoke and have stains(most are minor
and fixable). If the item is cheap I still may buy it and clean it myself. But this sale is very rude about finding items to reject from EVERYONE. Then a lady got upset about items given back then the volunteers where talking and snickering about it later
behind her back. This is not the 1st sale at GCUMC that I have heard your workers talk about people who didn't agree with what you gave back. I know you are going to do it, so I have items that I know will be outed from you so. Either you need to CATCH every
stain and smoky clothes and throw them out or stop being so jerky about it. I am sick of hearing your people talk the upset mom with a stain that should have known better. If a mom wants to put in a pair of jeans with a tiny stain for 1 dollar what is your
issue with it. I'm not talking about large stains. Maybe they will get wise and put in plant clothing that you will see and let the rest go like I do. I know I can't be the only one. When you talk about people you never know who is listening. A church should
be a place that people don't get talked about.

This sale has a lot to offer with a wide selection of everything you can think of. I would not recommend taking a stroller because there is little space to manuever. I agree with the other comment about changing the entrance and exit area. The hallway
is too small to accommodate the large crowd of people. Volunteers were very pleasant.

This is my second year shopping this sale. Each year I am pleased with the amount, quality, and selection of clothes on the girls side. I had difficulty last year in the boys section, however that was not the case this time. I was able to find several
items in the 2T-4T size range, a gymboree long sleeve T-shirt with tags was $2. They also had a huge selection of toys in a separate area. My complaint about this sale is how tight the check out area is. This small hallway is entirely too small to have people
lining up to check out and enter and exit the sale all in the same hallway. The clothing area is also very tight. When looking through clothes, it's impossible not to run into or jam up an isle way. It seems that the sale could use a different enter/exit strategy.
I would recommend this sale, however avoid strollers or oversized bags, it's just too hard to move around. The volunteers were very friendly.

i go every year and always look forward to it. they always have a good selection and it always well sorted. i cant wait for it again this season

Don't miss this one! Excellent toy selection. Great deals on clothing. This is my favorite one in Greensboro, and I love that's its not overcrowded.

This is a great sale with lots of selection. Definitely isn't too crowded on Friday. All volunteers were very friendly and helpful.

I dropped off my items tonite and only had to wait about 10 minutes. The staff was super nice even though som of my items were returned for stains I missed. I'm glad they have such high standards - makes shopping easier tomorrow! They had a TON of stuff so I am excited to see what all I find at the sale!! This is one NOT TO MISS!!!

This is a good sale to shop, but I won't be consigning with them again. I did for about 4 years and now that there are other sales to choose from, I choose the ones that are NICE to their consignors and courteous. I have waited over 2 hours in their check in lines in the past. They are not nice and won't work with you.

THE BEST AROUND! I am a consignment diva and this sale has THE BEST SELECTION AND NICEST ITEMS ANYWHERE!! All clothes are like BRAND NEW (some are with tags!) and the toys look like they were never used. WONDERFUL!!!

I forgot to rate the stars on my last post - THIS IS DEFINATELY 5 STAR!! I went to Air Harbor, Friendly and Horse Pen last week and none of them compare to this! DON'T MISS IT!

This is THE sale! More clothes, gear and toys than any other around. Wonderfully organized by gender and sizes and fully staffed with great helpers. Lots of stuff still left on Saturday for the half-price sale. Tons of designer names (Ralph and Tommy, plus TCP, Gymboree and lots more!) LOVE IT!!

This sale is one not to be missed! I have gone for about 4 years and I usually find some great deals! It is not super crowded, and is well organized into several rooms. Lots of toys/videos/books, and some boutique clothes. I am a Gymboree fan and usually find several things. My only gripe is that they don't have as much for older boys (6 and up), but otherwise there is alot to choose from!
