I used to always shop this sale and looked forward to it but it's just gotten too big, in my opinion. I went to the Spring sale, paid $4 "donation" for my husband and me to walk in, and then saw that the line to pay wrapped around the building. I estimated
an hour wait, judging on how people were sitting in line. I turned around and left very frustrated knowing I couldn't stand in line that long with my kids and had just wasted $4 only to walk in the door. If the sale was 1/2 the size, I might go back but as
it is now, I won't .

JBF is my favorite sale. I can always count on finding everything that I need and selling everything that I need to get rid of.

I have been to many consignment sales in the KC area (I love to shop for my kids!) and JBF Lees Summit is by far the absolute best of them all! Not only is it huge so there is TONS to choose from but it is organized very well and the items they have are all quality because they have been inspected. Also, I don't have to worry about buying any recalled items because they take care of that for me! I buy and consign from this sale and it has been a wonderful experience. I make the most money for my kids stuff and get to buy them new things and it hardly ever cost me anything- ends of being a wash! Its like trading for new toys and clothes! AWESOME SALE! :)

Great sale! I had bought at JBF for years to get high quality clothes at great prices. I sold for the first time this spring. Tagging was easy, online access convenient, drop-off quick, check received in mail timely, and donation receipt given for leftover items donated to charity. Thumbs up! :-)

The sale was awesome this year. Everything was so well organized. The people who don't consign don't know what they are missing!

JBF is a mother's dream. With three little ones and only one income, there isn't much left in the budget to spend on clothing. With JBF I am able to sell all our used things and Never, that's right I said Never, spend out of pocket for new clothes!!! Even better is I can find our new sizes at the sale and get those coveted name brands for half price! The racks are so full I actually get tired of looking through them. Everything is organized and catagorized perfectly. And let's be honest here anyone who has tried a garage sale knows that the work required to advertise and clean your garage isn't worth the $100 dollars you are going to make. JBF does all that for you and I make 4 x the amount I would at a garage sale!! LOVE JBF

I wish I could give the person who came up with idea a huge hug as they are genius. I am a first time mom and give my deepest gratitude for what you are doing. I am a huge craigslister and garage seller due to trying to save a buck just like us all in these times and always thought I was getting a great deal until now. Why spend all the gas driving from house to house just hoping and praying to find what you are looking for, And why look on craigslist for a bunch of different items from different people who live only gawd knows how far from each other. MOMS we have been saved. It is now all under one roof and I could not be more grateful. I made a list and man did I go to town. Not only did I get EVERYTHING that was on that specific list of mine but oh man did find other bargains. Being a first time mom you can call me a lil anal and over the top but this place put me at so much ease and I walked out with a smile from ear to ear. So let me break down my experience. I stood in line and waited for the release and headed straight for what was at the top of my list, A play mat LOL, I get over to the section, yes(Section) Everything is organized and look for the one i had already picked out and hoped they would have. Little did i know I would have all the selection in the world. I honestly can not brag about this sale enough, If you have a theme, well you in luck because you can go here and find it all. Mine is under the sea and apparently so was about 1000 other moms cause I got everything I came for. Me being the bargain shopper that I am came home and looked up all the brands and prices of the items i had purchased to see how much I had save and I about fell out of my chair. I saved over $800 dollars, Yes $800. So thank you so much JBF, you have served your purpose well and me and my son thank you. Because of you I can provide and give him everything I want with out going bankrupt. I hope someday you will be honored because what you are doing is great. Its for the people, by the people just the way it should be. Look forward to seeing you at the next sale! Signed, Grateful new mother!

This sale is a wonderful way of getting the next season's clothes for my kids. I've consigned before and I hope to be able to consign again. I love getting some bargains for my little ones.

JBF Lee's Summit is an AWESOME sale. It is huge and I look forward to it every year (twice a year). I also consign and am very happy with the amount that I make. The only downfall I guess, as far as a consignor,is not being able to pick-up our checks right away and the shoe inspection. Not only did some of my shoes that were clean, had no scuffs etc. get rejected; some of the shoes that were on the floor were outdated, dirty and had scuffs. I noticed alot of moms and consignors were talking about this and what the criteria is and what shoes pass and which ones dont. Other than that----I look forward to consigning AND volunteering in the fall. Way to go JBF Lee's Summit!

Love this sale! It is absolutely the best around! Organized, clean, and who can complain about making between $800-1000 for my kids used clothes each sale?

JBF Lee's Summit is the best KC Metro Consignment sale by far, it is huge, how many others in the area could fill John Knox Pavillion, one answer NONe!!! Oh and to the previous poster named Stephanie I guess you have never been to any other sale, because I shop them all and I find dirty, outdated clothes every sale I go to, everyone has their own ideas of what is okay to put on the floor and when you have volunteers, you get just that a variety of everything, maybe you might not of liked something but the next person that comes after you does. The key to getting the best pick is to volunteer or barter your time, you get in earlier for the best selection of goods. This is the only sale that I volunteer 24 hours of my time to and Sell my items in, I never make less than $800. I may shop them all but JBF Lee's Summit is the best by far.

Unfortunately, I was not that impressed with this sale! Super messy, & not very clean looking! Sad, because I love good deals but I can't get over the messiness of it and the items I have seen in the past weren't in the best condition. I recommend better item inspection! There are definately other sales that out do this one that I would rather put my time and money into. Hopefully they can focus more on their items and organization then I would consider possibly returning.
