The Village Closet is a seasonal consignment sale event serving Harrisonburg, Virginia and The Shenandoah Valley. We host two events a year, a Fall/Winter Sale and a Spring/Summer sale. You'll find high quality, new and gently-used items for your

Consignor Information:

Consignors earn a minimum of 60% of their sales, up to 75% for volunteers!

Benefit from our online tagging system to enter and price all your items with a few easy clicks! Consignors price and tag all their own items, and choose whether to donate or keep unsold items.

There is a non-refundable $10 consignor fee to help off-set advertising and other costs. Register online at

Last April, my husband and I came to the spring sale. I was 25 weeks pregnant with our twin boys and desperately in need of some baby gear. Well, we found it - we purchased about $185 worth of gear. When I got home, I checked Amazon - the retail for the
items we bought was over $1100! So, without VC, I don't know WHAT we would have done! Thank you, Ladies! Please keep up the great work. Can't wait for April 5!

I loved the Village Closet Sale! Easy to find clothes, always in nice condition, and the best was the prices! When your kids grow so fast it's nice to have cheaper options! I can't wait for the next event!

I am so excited for Village Closet's best sale yet! If you are new to the sale, I think you will be quite impressed at the quality, selection and organization of one of the FINEST SALES around. As a buyer, I love that they're VERY PICKY about the merchandise
they accept. As a seller, I love that I can earn high profits for my child's gently used belongings and get paid within days of the sale closing. It doesn't surprise me that this sale has grown exponentially!

I'm a buyer & a seller. I have bought & sold with many different Consignment businesses in the Shenandoah Valley over the past 6 years, but because of the success & the reduced # of prep time to prepare items to sell through their most up to date web page, It is well worth it for me to travel (40 minutes) to Harrisonburg for this event. It's a win win situation every time!

I can not say enough good things about the village closet.My first time there was last spring and I went wild shopping for my grandson to be. I got such awesome deals. I even worked there a couple of hours just so I could shop early. I look forward to going every time they have it.I highly rcommend it, especially for mothers with small children!

I absolutely LOOOOOVVVVEEEEE Village Closet Consignment sale! I have always found really great items, baby gear, and clothing, for my kids at incredibly low prices!!! With as fast as kids grow out of clothing (especially babies) it only makes sense to buy them used, and the best place to do that in Village Closet- they make sure that the products they include in their sale are of good quality!

This is a wonderful way to get clothing,toys and other items. My daughter and I shop each sale to outfit my granddaughter. The sale come right before her birthday and Christmas so we are able to get all of her toys. Village Closet saves us a lot of money and TIME! Everything we need in one place! I LOVE going to the sales I just had my 1st child and I went while I was pregnant with him and found tons of stuff. I also went for the winter sale and found clothes he is wearing now. He is now 7months old and I def plan on being there for the spring sale. I have told all my friends about it :)

I have been a consignor since they started the sale in 2009. Great selection of baby/kids clothes, toys, housewares, women's clothes and more. They are great to work with as a consignor as well! You should definitely check out the sale and consider registering as a consignor!
