Online Consignment Deals to Fill the Void

Ah, the sweet holiday season is upon us! And while I LOOOOVEEE the holidays, it also means a VERY sad “consignment-sale-less” season is upon us here in Greensboro, NC. How I envy those of you with holiday and all-seasons sales in your world!!! If you want to know if there are any late season consignment sales near you? Go here and enter your ZIP to see!

Not having any luck with sales in your area? If the thought of paying RETAIL makes you shudder like me, there are some great options to help you get your fix before spring sales start firing up again! While I’m never going to give up my seasonal sale addiction and purchase all (or most) of my kiddos clothing online, I’m finding better deals and more selections than ever at online resale retailers!

Another great option is Kindness Clothing (www.kindnessclothing.com)! They sell new & gently used kid’s clothing but with a charitable focus. For every item they sell, they donate one item to the Purple Heart Foundation! So I can get amazing bargains AND give back. Their prices are about the same as consignment sales and they often do sales of 50% off. I got a coupon code of TY20 for 20% off when I ordered and I think that can be used by anyone.

Another way to fill the void is to support your local resale shops that are open all year long!! I own a consignment store and have clothing for the entire family. I have some great consignors that do not have to time to put their items in the fall and spring consignment sales and bring them to me. I have tried to list my shop here and would love it if you would update your website to reflect local consignment shops. You have a tab for it, but it says that the listings are coming in July of 2014. I have emailed you about this and would love to see it working. Then I could put a link on my website to your website. For anyone interested I own Glad Rags Resale Boutique in Stockton, Illinois – I have a Facebook page and my website is http://www.gladragsboutique.com
