I’ve been shopping and consigning at pass it on for the past 4 years since my daughter was born and I’ve always been happy with the selection that’s available as well as the amount I’ve gotten back from consigning. Thus far I don’t think I’ve actually spent any money on clothing my child since she was born. I’ve managed to break even on selling old clothes she’s out grown and purchasing the next 6 months worth. I’ve checked out a lot of other sales around Portland as well as across the US and no where else have I seen the quality that I do at Pass it on. Their inspectors are meticulous the store is ran like a well oiled machine. I tell all my friends to go to this sale first for the best deals on the highest quality resale kid clothing and equipment.

Pass It On is the original Portland area sale and their experience shows through in the quality of their sale. Every step is seamless for consignors, from drop off to pick up! By far the biggest and best selection of quality baby and kids items in the North West! I can’t wait to do my back to school shopping at the upcoming Pass It On Sale in Cedar Mill.

I have found so many name brand, great quality items that our family wouldn’t be able to afford new. I now consign too and it has been such a successful experience!

This sale should be top rated #1 I have shopped and consigned at many different sales and now I only consign at this sale. Not only do I sell more items, I have more fun volunteering and thus receiving a greater percentage of my sales, but the caliber of items that come in to this sale is amazing! I find so many treasures for my kiddos and save a ton of money keeping them in the latest trends and styles.

I have been shopping at this sale since the first one in 2006, when my son was six months old. I started consigning at sale #4. Since then, even after moving to Eugene, I have only missed one sale (and it looked me to miss it!). My son is now 8, and growing up with PIO, when something is too small, he tells me “this needs to go to the baby sale”!

The pass it on sale is awesome! I was able to buy many of the baby items I needed that I wouldn’t have been able to purchase otherwise, and even found a few items I didn’t need as well. 🙂 All the items where in great condition, and the prices were affordable. I thought they were more affordable then the re-consignment shops I have gone to. I will definitely be going again and again. I plan on even attempting to consign something this time. Also, with Christmas is just around the corner it is a great time to start shopping! I know I will be thinking of the little ones on my list while I am there. I definitely encourage you to attend the Pass it On Sale in October.

I heard about PIO 7 years ago after the birth of my first son and have attended every year since, and have participated as a consignor several times. PIO favors first-time mommies, who can come earlier to the sale. I think that’s sweet. 🙂

I like that items are inspected for quality and there are a massive amounts of items to select from (there tends to be relatively more younger baby clothing and toys than older kid stuff) – besides clothing. Every year the sale improves in efficiency, organization, and layout. The lines can be long on the first day — bring cash if you want a faster moving line.

I used to just send stuff to Goodwill, but as a consignor there is the small kickback (you can earn more if you volunteer, etc) that I use to buy items for my growing kids. During the spring sale I only spent $11 out of pocket for purchased items. If nothing else, check out the sale because it is fun!

Great sale, not great people. My wife did some fun shopping on March 16th, the guy ran her debit card on his phone swiper and charged her twice. The company repeatedly failed to call back and to date, they have not returned our money. Of course our CU is going after it now but really, should that be necessary?

This sale is, by far, the most amazing shopping opportunity. I like to compare it to Black Friday, but over a 4 day period. There is never any worry that the items you purchase will be stained, torn or broken as there are highly trained inspectors who tirelessly scour every item making sure that it is of top quality. My daughters both know that they don’t get their school clothes until after the fall Pass It On Sale. Consigning items gives you an opportunity twice a year to “declutter” your child’s closet and toy box. The fall sale also provides an opportunity to find just about any Halloween costume your child is begging for this year and successfully avoid those overpriced Halloween Stores. Anything that you could possibly need for your pregnancy, your infant, toddler, child, pre-teen, teen and everything in between. Do yourself, your family and your wallet a favor and come check it out. You will be happy you did!

I love this sale. We get 90% of my daughters wardrobe at the sale, and then take the items she has outgrown and resell them. We get way more clothes for our money at the sale especially compared to department store prices ( even department store sale prices). As my daughter gets older we are looking forward to the large toy selection to help keep getting toys that are new to her.

LOVE love LOVE PIO! I look forward to it like a holiday. I literally stumbled upon this sale on a walk with my husband and infant daughter two years ago. Little did I know I found a JACKPOT of great deals. I have found so many fabulous deals and have been able to consign things for someone else to have a great deal also. My daughter wears and plays with PIO items almost exclusively thanks to this great organization. Its also fun for me to get to know other moms and make friends at the sale. I have made friends with the ladies I volunteer with and that was an unexpected blessing. One other bonus from PIO is that it keeps the clutter in my house in check. Every six months I get to go through my things and see what we didn’t wear or use and get it ready to consign. I have been a volunteer, consigner, and also a shopper and can say that this is a great organization to be involved with on every level. I highly recommend this sale to all my friends, family, and neighbors.

I’ve been consigning for years and it’s so nice to be able to get rid of unused kids items and get some money for them as well. The percentage rate is much higher than consignment shops. I love shopping there too. You can get really great items for great prices. You can feel confident that the items have been gone over and they will be in good shape and will work. I now have another baby girl and am looking forward to shopping this fall for the missing pieces in her wardrobe. And I really really hope to volunteer one of these years. The sale is really well organized, the PIO team does a great job making sure everything is clearly laid out. If I can’t find a section, I ask one of the volunteers/workers and they always know! My insider tip is to bring cash if you can, the cash line always moves faster!

I think the pass it on sale has the biggest and best selection of all the sales. They also have incredibly high standards so all of the items are in fantastic used condition. It’s been a godsend, and it’s great to have an option on the westside. Consignment process is simple and well-explained on the website, spaces are clean and well-organized, and the selection is excellent.

Pass It On Sales – Was and has been a life saver for me since fall sale 2006 when I was in the last trimester of my pregnancy. Most sales I did not spend over $150 dollars but I came home with so much that eventually I had to become a seller. I enjoy the sale so much that I have to look and search for at least 6 to 8 hours. Hey it is the only place I shop for my now nearly 6 year old son other than garage sales. I love the bargains. SEE YOU THERE!

Love this event! I’ve been attending since the Fall sale of 2006. I tell everyone about this sale. First off it is an excellent sale – but I really love it because it supports a local mom – not a big consignment corporation. There are lots of baby consignment sales, but I strongly believe it local buying – whether it is baby items or produce. The quality of the sale is excellent, well organized, and just like our children it has been fun to watch it grow from a little sale into a very large successful sale. I love buying, selling and volunteering. Definitely a must shop event.

Thanks, Julie! It’s been fun watching your babies grow with the sale and having them greet shoppers at the door with you! And you do not need to have #4 to continue to greet! 😉

This is my favorite kids consignment sales event! I look forward to the sales twice a year to be a consigner as well as a shopper! I don’t ever pay retail prices for my son’s clothing. This sale has a HUGE selection as well as bargain prices on kids clothes, toys, books, maternity clothing, swimwear, etc. It is well organized and fun to volunteer at the evnt as well. I highly recommend this sale to all my parent friends.

Ooh – My family and I <3 Pass It On!

We've been shopping this twice-yearly sale for 6 years now, and consigning for 5.
It is *THE* place to shop and sell! I consistently sell 75-80% of my items every time. I also shop for *all SEVEN* of my kids' clothes AND birthday gifts AND books AND bedding and...

What I love most is the fact that everything is inspected for quality, so I know I'm not buying something with a hidden stain or hole, or toy that doesn't work or book with missing pages.
The prices and choices are GREAT, the quality is high, the volunteer staff are a blast to work with - I look forward to it every time!

We will have Juniors this fall! We’ve had so many requests from teens who have grown up shopping with PIO, we are bringing it back (years ago it wasn’t selling well). See Lexi Lintner’s commets above, she is excited to shop it!

I’ve shopped all of the Portland-area consignment sales and Pass It On Hillsboro is by far the very best! I buy a huge portion of my children’s clothes and shoes, plus birthday and Christmas gifts at this sale. The quality of the items being sold is top-notch and the prices are extremely reasonable. This sale is really NOT to be missed!

LOVE PIO! It’s a great sale where you can shop with confidence knowing you’re getting clothing that is in almost new condition, toys that work & an amazing deal! I love shopping, consigning & volunteering with PIO! I’ve met a TON of other mommy’s after moving to Hillsboro & am very thankful for such an amazing resource.

This sale is a blast to consign with and to shop! I have been consigning at this sale for 4 years and shopping it for 5 years. I look forward to this sale 2x’s a year. The selection can’t be beat! I can always count on great deals as a buyer and sold over 75% of my stuff in the last sale. Fun to work and fun to shop, plus parking is never very far away and free.

The Pass It On sales are the best! It’s fun to see your total every day and to see what great bargains you can discover of your own! One of my favorite things is helping someone new learn all about how great consigning is, especially with PIO!

I love my PIO. I have been shopping and volunteering for 4 years and this past sale I finally was able to consign. It is my go to for my girls clothes shopping. I love being able to volunteer and have made some new friends from it. As a SAHM this saves me money and time. My husband knows I am getting the best deals and saving money from shopping retail. And I don’t have to spend my whole summer hitting consignment stores or garage sales. I do my shopping 2x a year and then I can relax. I sold 75% of my items this time which I was so happy about as it was my first time. And I made over $550 with no big ticket items this was outstanding.

Once again Pass It On blows all other Portland area sales out of the water! Their newest location was supebrly lit, easy to shop and amazingly clean. The deals were everywhere you looked, even on the last day there were still good deals and a decent selection to be found. As a consignor I sold over 80% of my items and made upwards of $1,000! Volunteering at this sale hardly seems like “work”, when the atmosphere is fun and the team is so friendly. This may not be the “biggest” sale in the Portland area (sq footage of building wise), but it is hands sown the BEST! and you NEVER have to pay for parking!
