What is something interesting about how you got started?
My husband and I have been in franchising for other business ventures and one day, he received an email blast from the International Franchise Association (IFA) which featured Just Between Friends. At the time, our children were little and the concept just made so much sense. He encouraged me to look into the opportunity and here we are 10 years, and 4 franchise territories, later! We own 4 sales in the Greater Philadelphia area – Oaks, Reading, Lancaster and Lower Bucks County.
Care to share some tips?
My best advice is to shop early and to shop often! At the beginning of the event, there is the best selection and the greatest opportunity to score big items. As things start to clear out, shoppers can see so much more on the racks and tables. Coming back is like a whole new shopping experience.
What is the BEST thing about your sale?
The very best thing about #JBFPhilly are the thousands of moms and dads who make our sale go. It truly takes an army to put on an event the size and scope of ours and I am humbled by their support.

The sale Oaks is the largest JBF event in the country and or sister sale in Reading is #2. We continue to grow through the loyal support of our community, sellers, and team members. This sale season we are celebrating our 10th birthday with lots of fun ways to show our appreciation to everyone who makes what we do possible. We’re having a food drive to support local food banks, spreading kindness through #JBFRocks and have lots of other fun giveaways and entertainment planned for the whole family! – Tracy
