One of my top 2 sales to attend every season! Love this sale. Items organized into different rooms to easily target what you're shopping for. I've also volunteered/sold in this sale and have had good experiences. Get there early, line starts forming 30
min early!

HUGE sale! Tons of stuff! Even though there was a big selection, I didn't find much - I only bought one halloween outfit and then waited in line for 1 hour to pay for it. I was in the "express" check out and it took forever!

My 4th time coming to this sale..Nice clothes, hardly any stains that I saw, prices were ok, I think the shoe area could use a little organizational work. I got there at 7am, drove 1 hour, and was the 3rd person in line. Then about 745 am, there were 2
ladies that cut in with the 2nd person in line, and I just don't think that's fair and it's so rude. I got there early for a reason, and to have someone cut in front of you in line is not fair. I know this has nothing to do with the actual sale itself, but
Im hoping the people that were rude enough to cut in line read this.

I love this sale! It's super organized and tons of choices. Only suggestion - I wish there was an easier way to tag the clothes. Something I could do on the computer? I love to consign here, but that would help!

I consign and shop at MANY local sales and this one is the largest and most organized in my opinion. I know that the people who organize it put tons of time into it and things are always evolving to better suit needs. Prices are up to individual consignors
so that isn't really something they can change. I thought there was a good selection of a wide range of brands (from Wal-Mart stuff to upper scale brands) with most things falling in the middle of that range. I think the receiving process this year did speed
things up, but also allowed a lot of stained items to slip through. Hopefully, they'll get that sorted out for next time. All in all a great, well organized sale. Thanks!
KC 19-Mar-2011 10:33 PM5 out of 5 stars
Oh and as a consignor there, I want to say THANK YOU for NOT allowing the sorting to take place because I wouldn't want my things out for an hour or how ever long someone might be holding them when others could be buying them!! I like the new rule!

Wow what a sale! Once again so many things to choose from, that's awesome! Great prices and friendly helpers. Thanks for having this sale, it feels good to know that it's a fundraiser for a preschool and I get great things out of it too! Win, Win situation!
Thanks for all you do, I'll definitely be back!

This is my 3rd time coming to this sale, I drive a long way to go to it, and this time I was very disappointed. The prices on lots of things were way to high, $25 for a Lilly Pultizer dress is just ridiculous..and YES I know how much Lilly Pultizer costs,
but I mean really it's a consignment sale..here to get good deals..I did get a few things, some of the clothes were stained and there needs to be a NO KID rule, because it's not fair for us to have to move around kids and strollers when it's already cramped
enough. I got a bruise on my arm for someone elbowing me, and so that ought to say enough that there needs to be more room. I hope they make some changes for the next one.

I have been to this sale many times and reviewed it before. Although I still found good items this time for great prices, I was disappointed with the lack of ANYWHERE to sort through clothes. I understand that it is a fire code situation, and I respect
that. However I would like to suggest that they be proactive and provide a room with tables next year for shoppers to sort through their items. Then the staff could direct customers there instead of being unkind to several shoppers, as I witnessed this morning.
I will return to the sale next season, but a few people in line who had come for the first time said they would not return due to the way they were treated.

I have gone every season they have had it since the Spring before my Daughter was born in 2009! I love it and its one of the best ones out there and I have been to a lot of other ones!

LOVED IT. Great organization. The items all had rooms and a nice paper to tell you what was where. Prices were good. I bought a Vera Bradley bag (real) for $2. I went both days Sat and Monday half price day. I found more things on Monday because it was less crowded. I bought 24 peices of ALL Gymboree clothing for about a $1.35 each _ half price day. Cons- if you come get there early parking gets gone and then you have to park on street or accross street and walk
Mommyof3girls 12-Sep-2010 11:44 AM3 out of 5 stars
Great sale, I got many great name brand clothes for my children. Cons: too many strollers and kids @ this sale..that makes it more difficult to look at the clothes when you are dodging kids and strollers. The clothing area is way overcrowded and some items are priced ridiculous..you can buy new for almost that price. Found several stains on clothes as well. Pros: Very well organized, the clothing area needs a little work. Everyone working there was very helpful and friendly
KC 11-Sep-2010 10:10 PM5 out of 5 stars
Great sale! Thanks for the Krispy Kreme donuts, what a great treat! Of course there were only a few left when I got there so I guess it must have been a first come first serve kind of thing. I loved the sale, got some great deals and will be back!
Meg 11-Sep-2010 12:55 PM4 out of 5 stars
Having separate rooms was a nice feature for organization. My main qualms with this sale was how crowded the clothing room was due to lots of strollers and children. Since they have circular racks, this really crowded the space. Great selection of shoes, gear, books, everything really!
KC 14-Jun-2010 05:31 PM5 out of 5 stars
Excellent sale in the spring! Great prices, well organized, a room for bikes, a room for books/games/movies, a room for large/outdoor toys, a room for stroller/carseat, not to mention the huge room of all the clothes and much more!......it was nice to see things sorted out that way! Can't wait till the Fall sale...when is it, by the way??

This is a great sale with a great selection and really good prices. Very friendly. A must each season

I've been to a lot of area sales and this one is by far the biggest. Yes, there's a lot of traffic -- because it's a huge, well-known sale. There's good, there's bad and everything in between. Some things are overpriced, many are STEALS. This is true of all sales. I like this one best because there's just so much to choose from. And a bonus --It's the only one I can think of that serves refreshments!
Julie 08-Mar-2010 10:24 AM2 out of 5 stars
Thought most of the stuff was to overpriced, the jammed up mess to begin with is way overrated.
Erin 07-Mar-2010 08:35 PM2 out of 5 stars
Went to the Spring sale about 1.5 hours after opening on the Saturday (first day). Parking is a major issue--church parking lots were full, cars parked on both sides of the street in the adjacent neighborhood, and filled up the lots at area businesses. Sale is upstairs in the class rooms. It's tough navigating through the "departments," although it was nice that items were sorted. Empty rooms and along the halls were packed with moms sifting through what they'd grabbed in arm fulls from the racks--disappointed that they let this be common practice at their sale. Prices were good, but be prepared to fight your way around.

Clothes were old/stained and off brands. Wouldn't hurry to hit this one up. There are much nicer sales in the area.
Kristin Redfield 19-Feb-2010 10:00 PM5 out of 5 stars
This is definitely my favorite sale! With everything very reasonably priced to a real steal (usually clothes are marked at about $3-4 per piece for many name brands like Gap, Gymboree, and Old Navy, I can outfit my guys for a whole season easily and affordably. I also like to consign there, but be aware that they have added a $5 charge on top of the commission that they get. (I also like that they give you a tax receipt for the commission part of the sales that you earn for them....) I have no affiliation with them but love volunteering for them since they have always had everything well organized. They are pretty picky about what they put out (and, I feel rightly so! WHEN THEY SAY NO STAINS AND NO RIPS, PLEASE ABIDE BY THAT!!!) but isn't that part of what makes our shopping there worthwhile as well?!?!

I wouldn't miss it!!!! It was great!
Dani 24-Sep-2009 08:06 AM5 out of 5 stars
Best one in town, in my opinion. This one is a work of art. If you are there first thing on Saturday morning, they hand out hot KK doughnuts. Most people arrive with laundry baskets in hand. They make excellent use of the space they have. The clothing is up to date and reasonably priced. I have been 3 times to this one. I over 50 pieces, all name brand, for $117. It is a bit crowded first thing on Saturday, but that is because it is so great!
Connie 17-Sep-2009 03:46 PM4 out of 5 stars
This one will be a seasonal "MUST GO" for me! It's what a consignment sale SHOULD be!! I went to their 50% off day and I'm telling you they still had everything you could want. In fact, they had more than KidShareNC! Prices were fair at regular price, so they were a steal at 50% off!! And the ladies were very friendly & helpful.

They had:
TOYS around the entire perimeter of an approx. 100'x80' room for all age ranges,
GEAR (lots of brand names in EUC),
CLOTHES/SHOES galore -- the room was packed tight with clothes. Again, all ages. They even had lots of Halloween costumes!
SOFT ITEMS: Blankets, Bibs, Snugglies, etc

Constructive Criticism: They need a MUCH bigger facility! It was quite difficult to get a stroller through there--double stroller, impossible! A bigger facility would've gotten you 5 stars!
Not many books, which I'm always on the hunt for :(
Car seats needed to be labelled better with Brand, Style, Model #s, etc so consumers can check the recall list via a smartphone (or tell us if you pre-screened them for us).

Can't wait for their next one!
