Tracy shared with us what makes JBF of Western Mainline so great!
How did you get started?
My husband and I have been in franchising with over 20 years. We learned about Just Between Friends from the International Franchising Association(IFA) and thought it was a brilliant business model. As a mom and a marketer, it was a perfect fit! We bought our first franchise in 2008 and have grown to host 9 events per year in 4 territories.
What are your very best shopping and consigning tips?
I always tell shoppers to come early and come often! There is so much stuff that it is nearly impossible to take it all in with just one trip. As the racks and tables start to thin out, you can find so many great items.
For sellers, my best advice is to start early. Take small baby steps one day at a time. The earlier you start, the more you make. Guaranteed!
What is something you are most proud of?
I think I am most proud of how far we have come over the past 8 years. The Western Mainline sale has grown to be the largest Just Between Friends in the country which is so humbling to me. We have been blessed to touch so many families as shoppers, sellers and community partners. It has been extremely rewarding to see this little sale morph into something that keeps getting bigger and better.
